HORSES BORN IN OCTOBER (SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE)
Some stables have their foal crops in October, as opposed to the usual months of Spring, due to climate. In the instance of owning a Thoroughbred racer born in October, it is up to the owner to realize the horse will be immature come the start of the 2yo racing season. As per RTRC rules, all horses age on January 1st, which includes October-born foals.

As the owner of an October-born horse, please make sure to take the following information as a guideline:
  • Wraps are recommended to avoid serious damage to the legs.
  • It is also recommended two-year-olds begin racing in May/June to allow for an extra month or two for additional maturity.

MEMBER RACES
All RTRC members and non-members are invited to hold races! All races, both association run and non association run, will count for RTRC points if the host chooses to sanction it. Since there will be four races a month (once weekly on a Saturday, please!), points will not be hard to keep track of, thus Bam will have no problem with people hosting races. However, please make sure you contact the RTRC and let us know which saturday you would like to host a race on. Please note the first and third saturday of every month is reserved for RTRC races only! The second and fourth saturdays are for anyone in the game to hold!

As for the race list, you may mix and match whichever you prefer!
